Falkenbergs FF won 4-2 at Domnarvsvallen and with that result, they have now gone unbeaten in seven of their last eight away games in the Superettan. Second place in the table. A team with a clear identity and a consistent ability to hurt opponents when the moment arrives. On Friday they hurt Brage twice in the first half, let them back into it, and then pulled clear in the second half when the home side’s defensive problems — the ones that have cost them all season — resurfaced.

For Brage, the inconsistency remains the story. They beat Värnamo 5-1 last week. They lose 2-4 to Falkenbergs this week. The attacking quality is clearly there — 24 goals scored, Nordh and Lundin both contributing regularly — but they have also conceded 22. Every time a good result generates optimism, a defensive collapse follows. Their home record of one win from six fixtures this season is the real problem. Fifth-place ambitions are hard to sustain when your own ground is not a fortress.
